Deadpool & Wolverine have arrived! It’s no mistake Marvel has been on life support for a hot minute. We got a few hits but plenty of Ls. Disney bought Fox and here we are. Let’s dive in

So we start off with Wade digging up Wolverine’s grave just to find his adamantium skeleton. I knew they weren’t going to undo Logan not touching that. Ain’t even the crazy part. TVA pulls up just before they do anything Deadpool makes a callback to the first movie. Next thing I know he molly wopped them with Wolverine’s bones. Straight outta Mortal Kombat. Breakdancing. He even used Wolverine’s claws with Maximum Effort. I always wanted to have Wolverine claws but I didn’t want to go through the trauma. We know for a fact these hurt everytime he pops them knives out. Even when he gets older he manually plucks them out. No thanks. At least Deadpool made it a reality.

Cuts to 10-15 min flashback of cars and exposition. After Deadpool used Cable’s Time Watch he attempted to join the MCU before Endgame but Happy turned him down. Few years later he dumped Vannessa, hung up the suit, got a tupe, worked as a Carsalesman with Peter, and celebrated his birthday. And just when he made a wish trouble. Because as it turns out you screw the timeline you deal with the TVA. It becomes a meta commentary on studios giving up on dead franchises in this case cinematic universes. Basically Deadpool Kills The Fox Marvel Universe.

Paradox wanna be big dog round here. I don’t want to eat the Big Mac. I wanna be the Big Mac. Didn’t stop Deadpool from breaking his nose. I gotta say Hugh Jackman didn’t miss it, it’s like he never left. He finally got the yellow costume. That only took 20 years. When he put on that mask his power level skyrocketed. Top 10 Mcu suit right there. He is the best Wolverine. I liked his dynamic with Deadpool. More than Cable that’s for sure.

Cassandra Nova is a villain I’m not too familiar with other than being Charles’ evil twin sister. When she flicked the skin off Johnny leaving nothing but bones my heart skipped a beat. I was not familiar with your games. Then she poked her dirty fingers into Deadpool and Wolverine. Literally. I know she didn’t wash them, you see a restroom in the Void? Paradox got the worst of it; fyi he probably deserved it. She didn’t get alot of screen time but with what we saw made quite an impression on me.

They were cooking with the fights. Some of my favorites were their first fight on the void. They had Wolverine running on all fours. Honda Oddeysey. They heal so fast they tire each other out. Fighting the Deadppol Corp. Really all of them were top tier. When it’s a multiverse movie you’re bound for some cameos. They even had Dollar Store Juggernaut. There were a few that caught my eye. My theater cheered for Blade. My jaw dropped. We didn’t think he was coming back for a couple reasons. And Westly still got it. Cavilrine was a nice surprise. Marvel treated Henry Cavil better than DC ever did. Bro even had the Superman punch. Johnny Storm was a treat. Avengers Flame ON! Wait what you’re not CAP! Pyro pulled the UNO reverse on my boy. And they claimed Deadpool got him killed. But I didn’t Gambit on my bingo card. Woo Im finna make a name for myself here. I think they were gonna do him like X-Force nah bro was cooking with cards. Got the moves like Jaggar. Channing Tatum never got that movie but shot out of this role ready. When the dust settles, put Gambit on the new Xmen team.

I think we’re all in agreement that all the Deadpool movies have great 3rd acts. Cassandra wants to destroy the multiverse. Somebody gotta make the sacrifice play. Superhero 101 they do it all the time. Logan bout to do it but Deadpool pulled a UNO reverse. Not again! Deadpool 2 already did it. All hope seems lost til Logan pulls up shirtless. They don’t call him JACKMAN for show. Such a beautiful scene had me a little tear up. And they both still alive. Wade & Logan were able to save their universe. Dogpool sticks around. They eat Shawrma. Everybody at the dinner. It never answered but I assumed Wade & Vanessa get back together. And X23 reunites with her father Logan. If that ain’t a happy ending I don’t know what is. Yeah this is the best Deadpool movie

Before the MCU the Fox Universe was the hot pocket. The first Xmen movie came out in the early 2000s. Say what you will about that era but there’s no denying they made alot of strange choices. Guess you can call it a love/hate relationship. But one hero that never let down was Wolverine. He was an Xmen. He was the Xman. Just when all hope seemed lost Hugh Jackman came back for one last ride for Deadpool & Wolverine! But let’s be real he’s gonna be in Secret Wars. It was surreal. Deadpool and Wolverine was a breath of fresh air for superhero movies. And even though the Marvel Fox Era is officially over, the Mutant Era has just begun. Thank you Shawn Levy, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman and Kevin Feige for an amazing film.
